The Risk of Multipolar Power

Since the end of the Cold War, the United States has been the world’s undisputed leader. Our military and economic power has been far enough in advance of any other country in the world, that we have been able to heavily influence the actions of other countries, if not outright force them into submission. While many have disagreed with the United States holding this position, including many within our own borders, it has contributed to world stability, if not always to world peace.
